Building a complete participation program
The contest needed a clear path from a family’s first introduction to entry, recognition, and an experience with the gallery’s artists. I led the campaign structure and creative development across that entire sequence, connecting the gallery’s community presence with a program families could take part in.
I developed the identity, website and downloadable rules and entry forms, social promotion, event displays, and awards. I also coordinated artists and production partners, so the campaign’s design and the practical details of participation were developed together.
Identity and promotion
I made the entry process part of the campaign design: launch graphics and social promotion led families to the website, rules, and forms, while consistent materials gave staff a clear way to explain the contest in person. The identity carried through to the winner announcements and awards.
Live participation
I developed branded coloring activities, table displays, and event materials with participating gallery artists. These gave children a hands-on introduction to the program and created a way for families to meet the gallery through an activity, extending promotion into a direct community experience.

Winner recognition
I designed winner announcements and awards and connected the presentation with the gallery’s Holiday Open House. Limited-edition giclée offerings of the winning artwork extended recognition into a fundraising opportunity benefiting Lighting the Way Outreach.
When the original artwork was not available in time for the standard production schedule, I arranged a rapid local scan-and-print solution through F32 Photo. This resolved a practical production obstacle so the artwork could be reproduced for the program. The winning artwork was created by participating children.

Artist-led experiences
I secured participating artists for winner experiences and classes, extending the program beyond an award announcement into time spent learning and creating with a professional artist. The completed campaign connected family participation, gallery programming, artist relationships, recognition, and charitable print offerings within one coordinated initiative.
